Q4. What would constitute the perfect day for you?
My perfect day would definitely be one spent hiking with a bunch of good friends out in the mountains and playing in the streams or swimming in the rivers on a perfect summer’s day. In winter it would be one also spent hiking in the mountains with friends sans the swimming.
The day would be accompanied by simple but wholesome and nutritious food we would have packed for the day. My food stash would perhaps consist of a roasted vegetable sandwich, some cherry tomatoes, nut trail mix, an apple and a small mandarin.
Any day I can spend out soaking in the sun, reconnecting with nature, and recharging my solar cells is the perfect one. I run on solar batteries. Without the sun, I feel so depressed and flat. And that’s why I could never live in countries with extremely cold winters and long nights. The latitudes where Hong Kong and Sydney lie are probably as far north and south respectively that I would be willing to live.
Anyway I digress. Basically for me, any opportunity to get outdoors and away from the city is good for my soul. I just need to get away from the concrete jungle after spending five days at the office over the work week. For me, nature heals and is the perfect salve to deal with everyday anxieties and worries.
